My passion for understanding others and creating spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued has guided my academic and professional journey. This foundation has led me to work in a variety of clinical settings, including psychiatric hospitals, community counseling centers, and private practice.
I have experience working with couples navigating challenges such as infidelity, communication difficulties, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, and major life transitions. I have also worked with individuals experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and relationship concerns.
I strive to create a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences. I take a holistic approach to therapy, seeking to understand each client’s unique story, values, and goals. I emphasize building a strong and authentic therapeutic relationship and work collaboratively with my clients to support meaningful growth and healing. I integrate various counseling modalities into my practice, with particular interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Gottman Method for couples therapy (Level I and Level II certified).
I am in my final year as a doctoral student at Northwest University, where I am earning my doctorate in counseling psychology. I previously earned my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Northwest University and my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Azusa Pacific University.
Outside of my academic and clinical work, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. I love traveling to sunny destinations, going on long walks, biking, and watching movies.
