Have you ever felt like you’re carrying a lot internally but aren’t quite sure where to place it, make sense of it, or understand where it came from? Maybe you’ve become the person others rely on, learned to keep your emotions to yourself, or found yourself stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Whatever brings you to therapy, I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be fully human, where they can process openly, be met with compassion, and feel less alone in what they’re carrying.
I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, faith-related questions, and life transitions. I especially enjoy working with young adults and individuals who are exploring identity, relationships, life transitions, navigating cultural experiences and the complicated realities of life. Many of my clients come to therapy looking for a place to slow down, untangle their thoughts and emotions, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves.
My therapy style is warm, relational, and grounded in genuine connection. I value creating an environment where clients feel comfortable bringing their whole selves into the room, the messy parts, the uncertain parts, and the parts they may not fully understand yet. I approach therapy with curiosity rather than judgment, trusting that meaningful growth often begins when we feel safe enough to explore our experiences honestly.
My work is informed by person-centered and psychodynamic approaches, as well as multicultural and trauma-informed perspectives. Together, we may explore how past experiences, relationships, culture, and personal narratives influence the way you see yourself and engage with the world. While insight is an important part of the process, my hope is that therapy also helps you develop a greater sense of self-compassion, emotional awareness, and connection in your daily life.
For clients who wish to incorporate faith into therapy, I welcome conversations around spirituality and Christian faith in a way that feels respectful, authentic, and tailored to your individual needs and goals. I am also an Amharic speaking therapist and welcome individuals seeking services in Amharic.
Seeking support can be a courageous step. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, processing emotions you’ve carried for years, or simply longing for a space where you can be heard and understood, I would be honored to walk alongside you!
