Cornerstone Counseling Center of Chicago’s professional staff is made up of a culturally and ethnically diverse group of master’s- and doctoral-level therapists who are committed to offering high-quality counseling services. While we each operate from a solid Christian perspective, we are also respectful and sensitive to clients’ varying beliefs and worldviews. All therapists have experience and expertise in working with a wide variety of clinical settings, client concerns, and spiritual, cultural, ethnic, and diversity issues.
Major Responsibilities
- Part-time status: maintain a minimum of 10 direct service hours each week with two evening shifts per week.
- Full-time status: maintain a minimum of 23 direct service hours each week with two evening shifts per week.
- Attend bi-weekly trainings.
- Maintain client records, with notes written accurately and within compliance standards.
- Respond to communications with clients and staff in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, or a master’s degree in social work, specialization in marriage and family therapy preferred.
- Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and teamwork are needed.
- Demonstrate commitment to Christianity and the mission of Cornerstone Counseling Center of Chicago
