Many people seek counseling when they are overwhelmed and uncertain about how to move forward. I am passionate to work with those struggling with anxiety, depression, the effects of trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, difficulty setting boundaries, or issues related to faith and spirituality.
I warmly work with you to create a curious and supportive environment to explore the intersections of the body, mind, and spirit in pursuit of overall wellness. I am open to young adults and adults, helping them gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns while identifying meaningful changes that align with their values and goals.
My approach is strengths-based and insight-oriented, drawing from Interpersonal Neurobiology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, existential perspectives, and personality theory. For clients who desire it, I also thoughtfully integrate faith and spirituality into the counseling process, honoring the important role these may play in healing and personal growth.
Outside of the counseling office, I enjoy noticing and relishing the beauty found in everyday life. I love spending time in nature, reading travelogues, and exploring the richness of art and spirituality. These interests reflect my belief that growth often happens through curiosity, reflection, and meaningful connection with ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Reaching out for counseling is a significant step and I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey. I welcome the opportunity to connect with you.
