As Executive Director of Cornerstone Counseling Center of Chicago, I feel honored to walk alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding.

I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity-related concerns, and feelings of being emotionally overwhelmed or stuck. Many of my clients come to therapy carrying the weight of expectations, past experiences, or uncertainty about how to move forward. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood.

I believe therapy is most meaningful when it feels collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in trust. I strive to create a warm and nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly process their experiences, strengthen self-awareness, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating. Clients often appreciate my thoughtful, relational approach and my ability to balance emotional support with practical tools for growth and change.

I value getting to know each person within the context of their unique story, relationships, culture, spirituality, and lived experiences. I recognize that factors such as race, gender, family dynamics, community, and identity shape how we experience the world, and I thoughtfully integrate these perspectives into the therapeutic process. For clients who desire it, I also welcome conversations that integrate faith and spirituality into counseling.

My approach combines evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, with a relational and person-centered style. I view therapy as a partnership built on authenticity, respect, and collaboration.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, but you do not have to navigate life alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you in your healing and growth journey.
