As a dedicated clinical psychologist, I specialize in helping individuals heal from childhood trauma, depression, race-based trauma, and marital challenges. My integrative approach draws from multiple theoretical perspectives, including psychodynamic theory, emotion-focused therapy, the Gottman Method, Adlerian therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, ensuring flexible, person-centered care.
I believe early experiences significantly shape our worldview, and I am committed to guiding clients toward healing from past hurts. Clients can expect a collaborative, nonjudgmental partnership in which I offer compassionate support. To support holistic well-being, my work also invites spiritual exploration, focusing on enriching each person’s relationship with the divine as part of the healing journey.
I hold a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, and a doctoral degree from Adler University. Both institutions helped mold my commitment to social justice in the mental health arena.
Beyond my clinical work, I am an avid reader of history, a writer, and someone who values staying physically active. I’m also a devoted husband and father of two. My personal experiences inform my practice, enabling a holistic, real-world perspective on healing and growth.
It takes courage to be vulnerable and to seek therapy. When you're ready to step through that doorway to healing, I’ll be here, offering compassionate presence and steady support.
